revitalizing underutilized assets and connecting people, infrastructure, and ideas to long-term economic and social value.
Project Overview
Gateway to Ghana is a phased, research-driven platform designed to:
- Advance education and workforce development through public-access learning infrastructure
- Support applied research and institutional collaboration
- Create ethical, physician- and academic-adjacent pathways for global capacity building
Phase I activities are anchored by research, intended for use as a Learning, Research and Innovation Center.
Funding Scope
Seed capital under fiscal sponsorship would be restricted to charitable, public-benefit uses, including:
Research & Development
- Community needs assessment and feasibility research
- Program architecture, curriculum planning, and governance documentation
- University, hospital, and institutional partnership development related to the library project
- Compliance, reporting, and fiscal oversight infrastructure
Public Asset Completion (Library)
- Support for the completion, rehabilitation, and functional readiness of the existing public library facility
- Interior build-out, learning infrastructure, and program-enabling improvements
- Educational equipment, digital access, and community-use enhancements
The library will remain fully government-owned, and Project Generation Connect will not receive ownership, exclusive control, or guaranteed long-term tenancy. Funding is intended solely to advance public access, educational use, and community benefit.
No funds will be used for land acquisition, political activity, or private benefit.
